論文簡介如下:

Energy storage is crucial for the large-scale promotion and application of renewable energy. However, the current limitations of energy storage density and capacity are among the key factors restricting the industry's large-scale development. Among various traditional energy storage methods, chemisorbed hydrogen storage has been greatly sought after and studied due to its advantages of low cost, sufficient supply, and large energy storage capacity. Compared with other hydrides, LiBH4 has the highest capacity for storing hydrogen, but its kinetics are extremely slow, and its cycle stability is poor. Researches have shown that incorporating MgH2 into LiBH4 can significantly reduce the reaction energy barrier. However, even with such modifications, the high reaction temperatures still pose a significant challenge to the practical application of hydrogen storage. Herein, this paper summarizes different attempts to promote the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation performance of the 2LiBH4-MgH2 system for hydrogen energy storage. In addition, optional systems of 2LiBH4 and metal hydrides are also discussed. This review aims to offer fundamental insights into the 2LiBH4-MgH2 system, propose novel strategies to advance the sustainable development of energy storage materials, and inspire continuous innovation in the design and synthesis of superior catalytic additives.
